( Careers )

Do the best work of your career.

Join a senior, remote-friendly team building web, mobile and AI products for clients worldwide — as a full-time hire or an intern.

( Perks )

Why people stay

We keep the team small and senior on purpose. These are the things our people say actually matter.

public

Remote-friendly, always

Work from where you do your best thinking. We collaborate async-first across time zones, with overlap hours that respect your life outside work.

school

Senior mentorship

Every engineer and intern pairs with a senior who reviews your code, shares context and invests in your growth — not just your output.

rocket_launch

Real products, real ownership

No bench, no busywork. You ship features clients use from your first weeks, and you own them end to end.

trending_up

Learning budget

Courses, books, conference tickets and certifications — if it makes you better at your craft, we want to pay for it.

schedule

Flexible hours

We measure outcomes, not hours at a desk. Structure your day around deep work, family and energy — not the clock.

diversity_3

Small teams, big trust

Flat structure, direct access to leadership, and decisions made by the people closest to the work.

devices

Modern stack & gear

Laravel, React, native mobile, AI tooling and proper hardware. We keep the stack current so your skills stay current too.

celebration

Performance bonuses

When projects and the company do well, the people who made it happen share in that — simple as that.

( Open to talent )

Where you could fit

We hire for talent, not vacancies. If you're strong in any of these areas — for a full-time role or an internship — we want to hear from you.

Engineering

Laravel/PHP, JavaScript (React, Vue), mobile (iOS, Android, cross-platform), DevOps & cloud.

AI & Data

AI agents and integrations, machine learning, data pipelines and analytics.

Design

UI/UX design, design systems, prototyping and user research.

Quality

QA engineering, test automation and release management.

( Process )

How hiring works

Respectful of your time, transparent at every step.

01

Apply

Send your resume and a short note through the form below. A human reads every application — no keyword filters.

02

Intro call

A 30-minute conversation about your experience, what you want to learn, and what we're building.

03

Practical round

A small, time-boxed exercise close to real work — never a week of free labour.

04

Offer

A clear offer with transparent expectations. Most candidates go from application to answer in under two weeks.

( Culture )

What is it like to work here?

Craft over churn

We'd rather ship one thing properly than three things badly. Code review is a conversation, not a gate, and "good enough" is a decision we make together — never a shrug.

Honesty by default

We tell clients when buying beats building, and we tell each other when something isn't working. Feedback flows in every direction, including upward.

Curiosity is the job

New frameworks, AI tooling, a better way to test — exploring is part of the work, not something you squeeze in after hours.

No heroics culture

Sustainable pace beats crunch. If the plan needs heroics, we fix the plan — burnout produces worse software and worse weeks.

( Rhythm )

A week at Silver Hamster.

Deep work protected, meetings batched, and a finish line every Friday.

Monday

Short team kickoff — what's shipping this week and who needs help. Then straight into deep work; meetings are batched, not scattered.

Midweek

Pairing sessions, code reviews and a client demo or two. Interns present alongside seniors — your work, your stage.

Friday

Demos wrap, learnings get shared in a 30-minute show-and-tell, and we close laptops on time. Weekends are weekends.

( FAQ )

Careers questions, answered

Everything candidates usually ask before applying.

Do you hire interns? add

Yes — we run paid internships year-round across engineering, design and QA. Interns work on real client projects with a dedicated mentor, and strong interns regularly convert to full-time roles.

Can I apply if no specific role is listed? add

Absolutely. We hire for talent, not vacancies. Tell us what you're great at and the kind of work you want to do — we review every application against current and upcoming projects.

Is remote work possible? add

Yes. We're remote-friendly and collaborate async-first. Some roles benefit from overlap with client time zones, which we'll discuss openly in the intro call.

What does the hiring process look like? add

Four steps: application review, a 30-minute intro call, a short practical exercise, and an offer. Most candidates hear back within a few business days and finish the process in under two weeks.

What should my application include? add

Your resume as a PDF, plus anything that shows your work — GitHub, portfolio, LinkedIn or a project you're proud of. A short note on why Silver Hamster beats a generic cover letter every time.
